What do we do?

FutboLISTAS is a bilingual girls’ football program in Seville for girls between 5 and 12 years old. We use football to teach valuable life skills that will help the girls achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals.

Our practices are run in English by native speakers with football experience. Our curriculum combines football exercises with monthly workshops held with professional mentors (local women from a variety of career fields).

About Us

Why do we do it?

The benefits of practicing sports are infinite: improved physical health, higher self-esteem, reduced stress, increased energy, and increased confidence to carry out daily activities and pursue one’s dreams. One of our goals is to offer a set of extracurricular activities in Seville that promote healthy lifestyles among girls. More specifically, the opportunity to play girls’ football, which is a rarity in Seville, especially in regards to recreational football.

FutboLISTAS also exists to provide a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for girls. We not only encourage activities linked to healthy lifestyles, but we are also committed to the personal and academic development of our girls.

In sum, at FutboLISTAS we use football to help girls develop skills useful for their studies and encourage them to think about their professional careers. Our mission is to help them see that they are capable of achieving their wildest dreams. We want our girls to feel proud to be strong, smart, & ambitious.
